Novatone Consulting provides business solutions through the use of Business Process Management Systems. We are a small, privately-owned business based in Prince George, British Columbia. Having spent our respective careers in public and private industry, we share a passion for efficiency and clarity in our work.

Melanie (Toner) Mogus is originally from New Brunswick and moved to Prince George nine years ago. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with an econometric specialization from the University of Waterloo, and a master’s degree in health Economics from the University of Victoria. Her career began with the Canada Revenue Agency prior to relocating to Prince George and being employed by the University of Northern British Columbia. Two years ago, she joined the performance improvement team with the Northern Health Authority. The last four years in particular have been an immersion in performance improvement through process re-design.

Helena Trudel was born in Prince George and raised in Quesnel, British Columbia. She has deep family roots in the region and a strong commitment to the community. She received her education in business management from the College of New Caledonia in Prince George BC, after which she was hired as a Quality Control specialist for

Dunkley Lumber Ltd. She spent 5 years in quality control and improvement before transferring from production to administration as the Human Resources Coordinator. She worked closely with industry regulators WorksafeBC and the Council of Northern Interior Forest Employment Relations (CONIFER).
